Shipping to Hong Kong:
For shipments to Hong Kong, please place your order by sending an email to shop@undp.org with the following details:
- A complete list of products you wish to purchase, with quantities
- Full shipping address
- Contact information including phone number and email
Once we receive your email, we will get back to you with a direct purchase link so you can complete your order.
What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?
Orders generally take 3-5 business days to process before they are shipped. Shipping rates are directly generated by our carriers of choice USPS (domestic orders within the US) and DHL (for international orders). Total amounts will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note customs and duties fees are not included in shipping cost. Please check our FAQs for more information on customs and duties.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Do you ship with USPS internationally? How does it work?
Yes, sometimes we use USPS to ship internationally. In this case, the parcel will be handled and trackable on the USPS’s website until it reaches its final country of destination. At that point, the shipping will be handled by the country’s general shipping provider i.e. Canada Post for Canada. We recommend checking the delivery progress using the tracking number from USPS on the local shipping provider’s tracking tool.
Why am I being charged additional taxes or fees at checkout?
Applicable taxes, including VAT, are based on the country you are shopping from/shipping. The prices you see on UNDP Shop do not include taxes and duties. These taxes are added once you enter your address during checkout. Please note international orders may also be subjected to customs/taxes upon arriving to their fina destination. Please check our FAQs for more info.
Do you offer free shipping?
No, we do not offer free shippingat this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to visit our shop.udp.org website frequently and to subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates on any special promotion or discount.
Will holiday closures impact shipping times?
Yes, they might. Our shipping center is closed on all UN HQ mandated holidays. Orders willnot be processed or shipped on these days. The updated official list of UN holidays observed in 2022 is available here.
Where is my order? Where can I find tracking information?
To track your order and estimated delivery, please use the shipping confirmation email you will receive when your order leaves the UNDP Shop warehouse. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.
To lookup the status of your order, you can also log-in your UNDP Shop account, where you will find your recent orders. You can view order details and track your order from there.

Returns Policy
What is the UNDP Shop return policy?
At the United Nations Development Programme and UNDP Shop, we are deeply committed to reducing our carbon footprint. As part of this, we foster a sustainable approach to buying online, and encourage our customers to avoid returning as well as exchanging items as much as possible – every small action can help protect the environment.
That said, any order placed on shop.undp.org can effectively be returned within 30 days of purchase: all unaltered or unused merchandise in sellable condition qualifies for a full refund within this time frame. Please be advised that processing may take up to 5-7 business days once a return is received. Once a refund has been issued, you will receive an email notification.
Please know the UNDP Shop is not responsible for any damaged or lost returns. Choosing a shipping carrier that guarantees either a tracking number or proof of delivery is advised.
Do you offer free returns?
We are unable to offer free returns for purchases made at the UNDP Shop. We are aware free returns can be a nice perk, but excess shipping increases emissions, causing negative impacts on our planet. You can use a shipping company of your choice to return your unused item(s).
Do you also offer exchanges?
Initiatives like our Greening UNDP Moonshot programme, as well as the United Nations Development Programme’s global commitment to the SDGs drive our accountability, vision and approach including on how we progressively make all our operations environmentally sustainable.
As sustainability and achieving zero waste are core pillars for the UNDP Shop, we kindly ask our customers to shop mindfully and think twice about asking for an exchange. In fact, product returns and exchanges are notoriously bad for the environment. They contribute to increased landfill waste and amplify shipping emissions.
That said, for any order placed on shop.undp.org exchanges of new/unused items are still possible within 30 days of purchase should you wish to go down that route.

How do gift card returns and refunds work?
If you completed your purchase via a split payment (part gift card, part a different payment method) and have initiated a return, please know your refund will go to the gift card(s) first. The remaining balance will be refunded to the other original payment tool you used. Payments completely done using a gift card will be fully refunded to the gift card(s).
