UN General Assembly

What is UNGA?
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is the UN’s main policy-making convention. Beginning each September in New York, and comprising 193 Member States, it provides a unique forum for a joint discussion on the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations.
UNGA is not just about world leaders. It’s also a platform for the public – and public figures like Greta Thunberg – to engage and respond; a critical opportunity for all to come together and chart a course for the future.
