The State of Climate Ambition: NDC Global Outlook Report 2021

Climate change is the greatest challenge of our time. This UN Development climate report explores trends emerging from “second-generation” pledges under the Paris Agreement, known as Nationally Determined Contributions (or NDCs), and the opportunities being missed to accelerate climate action. Findings informed by UNDP’s Climate Promise – which currently supports 120 countries – shows that the most vulnerable countries continue to lead the way in more ambitious pledges.
